BENEFIT PLAN II
Benefit Plan II addresses the discrepancy between members’ income and necessary expenditures. The Federal budget guidelines say a family should not spend more than 33% of their income on rent. Many families end up spending 60-80% of their income on rent due to low wages and high housing costs, leaving almost nothing for other basic necessities. NSWA volunteers can work with you on a self-help budget plan designed to work at addressing longer-term budget problems.
These and other membership benefits are available – visit NSWA to learn more about ways you can participate with and help build the Benefit Program.
